We believe in creating social consciousness to explore sustainable business solutions. Industry-NGO linkage would strengthen the corporate - community relationship in achieving business success through sustainability. Students take up projects with NGOs and provide them with their business acumen and professional inputs for scaling up their business performance.


IMG_0924The Institute has a National Social Scheme (NSS) Unit. Students are engaged in various NSS Activities like visits to local villages, conducting surveys, Energy Conservation Programs, Consumer Awareness Programs, Disaster Management Programs etc. The NSS Unit also conducts activities such as Poster Competitions, Street Plays and many other similar activities for students.

Industrial Visits

20121023_112925SJIMR realizes the need for new generation business leaders who have an understanding of conducting business with values and consciousness. As a part of Industry-institute Interface, industrial visit to Rajasthan was organized. Students visited – Dainik Bhaskar, Saras dairy and HNS coaches Pvt. Ltd. Visit to local industries in Palghar and Boisar like Kokuyo Camlin Ltd., Reliance Thermal Power Station etc. was also organized to give a practical exposure to the students.

Value Education and Meditation

123In addition to the prescribed university curriculum, SJIMR has introduced add-on modules on value education and yoga sessions by well trained professionals to bring self discipline and to cope up with stress.




Management Development Program

SJIMR is into holistic development of students by way of developing inner potentials and leadership abilities through quality based management education. Management Development Programs are introduced to bring about professionalism for entrepreneurial growth and opportunities for the students by strengthening the industry-institute interface
