Date: 25th and 26th January 2017

Time: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

St. John Technical and Educational Campus – St. John College of Engineering and Management, organized a Science Fest – Inter school and intercollegiate competition for students.

Science Fest 2017 aimed at inculcating a scientific outlook among young students from the 8th Class to the 12th Class and even into the Degree level. All the Institutes at St John Technical and Educational Campus participated in the Fest. The exhibits had different levels of complexity to cater to the interests of all visitors. Many of the exhibits and stalls were interactive so that all could participate rather than just spectate. Students showcased some of their innovative projects and ideas to make Science Fest 2017 an enriching experience for all. The theme was SCIENCE IN THE SERVICE OF HUMANITY’.

Keeping this in mind, NSS Volunteers took the initiative and prepared a stall on Disability in India. The aim of this Stall was to make everyone aware about the rights and dignity of disabled people. They displayed various posters on disabled people and their success stories. Students played videos and displayed posters about various messages on disability and the acceptance of such type of people in society. They spread awareness to all those who visited this stall, and plenty of positive feedback was generated.
